About Lingon
The brand name, Lingon, is a tribute to my Swedish heritage and family. The name combines Ling, my last name, with -on to create the Swedish word for lingonberry. This small but mighty berry is a staple in Swedish culture. It's a name that reflects my roots, my family, and the unique, vibrant Scandinavian spirit - it’s a little taste of home.

The heritage
My name is Jessica, and this brand is a reflection of my personal journey. I am born in Sweden, a country known for its minimalist aesthetic and deep connection to nature. This heritage is at the heart of everything I create. I combine the clean lines and functionality of Scandinavian design with a playful, colorful twist, making my products instantly recognizable and endlessly stylish.

While my roots are in Sweden, my home is now in Hamburg, where I live with my German husband Christopher and our four-year-old daughter Lucy. This blend of influences—Scandinavian simplicity, Swedish fabrics, and the creative energy of my life in Hamburg—makes my brand truly unique. I personally hand-sew every single item, ensuring each piece is made with love and attention to detail. This isn't just a business; it's a fusion of cultures, a celebration of heritage, and a commitment to a more sustainable future, all sewn together by me.
The products
I believe in creating beautiful things with a purpose. Every quilt, piece of clothing, bag, and accessory you find here is a result of my love for sustainable design and mindful craftsmanship. I hand-sew each item in my small Hamburg studio, transforming high-quality, upcycled, and deadstock fabrics—many of them sourced from Sweden —into unique, functional art. I'm proud to give these forgotten textiles a new life, turning them into pieces that are not only cool and trendy but also kind to the planet. By choosing one of my products, you're not just getting a one-of-a-kind item; you're joining a movement that values slow fashion, conscious consumption, and beautiful, lasting design.
